Residents are being invited to see some of the newest homes on the market during an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Commons.

Information will be provided as to "what makes Riverview Commons stand out," according to a press release, and a vendor fair including local businesses will be offered. The fair offers businesses opportunity to share their products and services at no cost.Homebuyers select from six models and during the open house may preview a variety of model plans and available options. Move-in ready home will also be presented during the open house. Some of the homes are two stories, others are ranch-style, the press release reads. The homes are perfect for first-time buyers, yet priced for those who want to move up in quality and for those wishing to move into Fort Morgan, the press release additionally reads.

"Our goal is to build community within a community," said Karen Johnson, managing partner of Community Developers. "With the help and support of the City of Fort Morgan, this development will be a real benefit to Morgan County in meeting some of the immediate housing needs and for the future growth of the area." Residents are invited to see the homes and enjoy the fun of the community vendor fair. Community Developers is the new developer for Riverview Commons. "With a variety of new construction and conventional loans available today, including no money down with low cost financing, home buying affordability could be possible, especially for those who never thought they could afford a home," Johnson said.

The event will include mortgage counselors, real estate agents and other sales personnel to answer any questions. Riverview Commons is at 1525 Osage Ave., at the intersection of E. Riverview Avenue and Commons Parkway.
